Announcement: SWA Northern CSO constituency elections completed

by | Oct 22, 2015 | News

End Water Poverty would like to pass on a big thank you to all of the members of the Northern constituency, both within End Water Poverty and Millennium Water Alliance who voted in the recent elections for the new Sanitation and Water for All Partnership’s Steering Committee representative for the Northern countries – we really appreciate your engagement, particularly given the short time frame available to us.
We would also like to thank the three candidates who stood for election – Thilo Panzerbieter, Dennis Warner and Uzo Klein Leugemors. Thank you for your active engagement with the process, and for taking the time to submit such strong applications for this position.
The elections have now closed, and we are delighted to announce that Thilo Panzerbieter was elected to continue his role as the Northern constituency representative on the Steering Committee. Dennis Warner will serve as his alternate, and they will be working closely together.
Looking ahead, we plan to send more regular updates about SWA as part of our End Water Poverty newsletter, in addition to you receiving more communication from Thilo and Dennis about the work they are doing to represent your voices on the SWA Steering Committee.
Thank you to all again for voting and participating in this process. Together, with a strong united voice, we can end the water and sanitation crisis.
