End Water Poverty progress report for the period 2020 to 2022 is out!

by | Dec 16, 2022 | News

In December 2022, End Water Poverty published our progress report which documents the achievements of our coalition and members for the period 2020 to 2022. The report underscored how contextually-sensitive community-led advocacy are making water and sanitation rights real – from legal and policy reform in countries like Nigeria and Pakistan, to investigative research, the exposure of water rights violations, and tangible improvements to water and sanitation services in hundreds of communities across the globe!

By highlighting key achievements from our primary campaigns, Claim Your Water Rights and Government, Pay Your Water Bills!, the report shows how the End Water Poverty coalition has operationalised the human rights to water and sanitation.

The report celebrates our achievements and our global impact. It also shows how we’ve supported our members’ remarkable work through events, peer-to-peer learning exchanges, and amplifying their experiences and expertise through a range of media.

Through sharing the struggles our members have faced, the successes they’ve been able to achieve, and the lessons they’ve learnt, we aim to create awareness, inspire action and build global solidarity.

Want to learn how our coalition has supported civil society and community-based organisations to activate laws and policies, counter regression and repression, and uphold space for civic action? Check out our progress report!
